The Wall Always Moves
Uranus returns to Gemini. Three times before, this transit redrew what humans could know. We are inside the fourth.
In 1781, William Herschel pointed a telescope at the night sky and found something nobody knew existed.
Until that moment, our solar system stopped at Saturn. Seven bodies. The Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn. Saturn was the wall. The boundary. Every astrology built before 1781 was a seven-planet cosmology because there was nothing beyond Saturn to know about.
Then Herschel saw Uranus. And Uranus, at the moment of its own discovery, was in Gemini.
The solar system doubled in size that night. Then expanded again with Neptune in 1846, and again with Pluto in 1930. The known universe kept moving past every wall we thought was the wall.
Uranus orbits the Sun once every 84 years. Since its discovery, it has returned to Gemini twice more before now.
1858 to 1865. The first transatlantic telegraph cable. Darwin’s On the Origin of Species. Photography in mass use. The American Civil War. The species started seeing itself in real time across distance for the first time, and the story of where humans came from stopped beginning in Genesis.
1941 to 1949. The first general-purpose electronic computer. The atomic age. Television in the home. Claude Shannon publishes the mathematical theory of information that every digital system still runs on. The species learned to encode itself.
April 25, 2026. Uranus enters Gemini again. The third return since the planet was discovered. Each prior cycle quantum-jumped how humans process and share reality. This one is doing the same thing on a different layer. AI. Mass synthesis. The pressure to make actual meaning out of an unmanageable volume of information.
Here is the part you cannot afford to miss.
Your psyche is built on the same prototype.
The solar system is the outer map. Your inner life is the same map drawn on a smaller scale. Every “boundary” you think defines who you are is just the current edge of what you have discovered. Beyond it is more of you that you have not met yet. Saturn was the wall until it wasn’t. The same is true of every limit you currently believe is yours.
Uranus is the planet that breaks through that wall. And right now, for the next 7 years, it is in the sign that governs how you think, communicate and construct the meaning of your own life.
This is a pioneering cycle. Personal, generational, species-wide.
The Taurus floor under the Gemini ceiling
The Sun is still in Taurus until May 20. Body before mind. Earth before idea.
If you only metabolize this transit through your head, you will be exhausted by July. Walk before you decide. Eat something that grounds you. Sit with one thought longer than feels productive.
The Gemini speed is real. The Taurus floor is what keeps it from becoming noise.
Where I am pointing you this month
May 15 to 18, five working astrologers I have respect for are running a three-day symposium called SHIFTS HAPPEN TOO.
Steve Judd is hosting. Rick Levine , Penny Thornton, Alex Trenoweth and Darby Costello are with him. These are five of the most respected English-language astrologers working today, and together they cover the entire 2026 transit field. The Taurus New Moon falls on May 16, inside the event window.
In person near London. Livestream available worldwide.
This is the year to do it. Pluto in Aquarius. Uranus in Gemini. Saturn-Neptune at the first degree of Aries. Chiron approaching Taurus in June. Most of what you see online right now is weather. SHIFTS HAPPEN TOO is climate. The slow outer-planet work that sets the next 20 years.
I bring you contemporary astrology, Human Design, mindfulness and embodiment. Steve and the others are part of the deeper classical layer I myself learn from. They cover ground my Sunday letters cannot.
I am going to be in the livestream audience. I cannot wait to sit with this.
A small bonus from me
My readers also get 15% off the livestream with code YUR15 at checkout.
On top of that, if you book through the link below I am hosting a free 60-minute group integration video call the week after the symposium ends. We sit with what came up over the three days, and I help you metabolize it . Forward me your TicketTailor confirmation after you book and you are in.
Booking through my link closes midnight UK time on May 14.
Uranus is in Gemini. The wall always moves. Find out how far yours actually goes.
See you next Sunday.

“Every “boundary” you think defines who you are is just the current edge of what you have discovered. “
Such a great line and expansive thought! Worth remembering everyday. We don’t live in a prison of who we think we are just an ever expanding universe of who we can become. Thanks for this!
